NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Two people were injured Monday night after a fight broke out in the Bordeaux area of Nashville.
Police were called out to the scene at 2400 Buena Vista Pike shortly before 7:30 p.m. Police said a woman approached another woman with the intent of fighting with her. The woman who allegedly initiated the fight brought 15 or more people with her to watch the fight.
At some point, she stabbed her intended victim, causing minor injuries, according to Metro Police. The victim was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
At the end of the fight, shots were fired from a distance into the crowd. Five to six shots were fired. A young man was hit twice in the back. His injuries were described as serious, but not critical. The man was also taken to Vanderbilt.
No suspect information was immediately released, and the identities of the victims was not released.
