I-65 Reopens In Sumner Co. After Ice Cream Truck Wreck

SUMNER COUNTY, Tenn. - All lanes of Interstate 65 reopened Wednesday morning after a tractor trailer hauling thousands of pounds of ice cream overturned.

The crash happened just before 8 p.m. at Mile Marker 103 near Millersville. A semi-truck hauling approximately 45,000 pounds of ice cream overturned, blocking southbound lanes starting at exit 104. No northbound lanes were affected.  

The driver was not hurt.

The roadway remained closed for approximately nine hours while crews worked to clear the scene. It reopened just after 5 a.m.
