NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A Nashville man was arrested late Tuesday night after police said he tried to hide drugs inside his toddler's bag.
A police officer stopped a car for not making a complete stop at a stop sign at the corner of Summer Place and South 5th Street. According to an affidavit, 22-year-old Tyquane Crutcher was in the backseat of the vehicle with his two-old daughter.
When police searched the car, they found a small bag of marijuana inside the little girl's bag.
When police arrested Crutcher, he admitted that the drugs were his and he had stashed them in the bag. He was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
The affidavit said Crutcher has two prior convictions for drug possession. He was freed on $3,500 bond.
