RUTHERFORD COUNTY , Tenn. - A fugitive wanted for shooting a man fifteen times in Atlanta was taken into custody in Rutherford County on Tuesday afternoon.

Farraknad Mohammed Price, 18, was arrested at the Knight's Inn on South Church Street by Rutherford County Sheriff Deputies and U.S. Marshals.

Police in Georgia said Price was wanted for aggravated assault with a firearm. Price was accused of shooting a man more than a dozen times two weeks ago in Atlanta.

Rutherford County Sheriff's officials said Price was a member of the Folk Nation gang.

He was held for Atlanta Police at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center.

Price was also charged with being a fugitive for justice.
