CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - A Clarksville man was arrested after police said he assaulted store employees with a pressure washer after an argument.
Police said Thomas Birdsall got into an argument over a receipt at the Sudden Service convenience store on Madison Street.
After cursing at the female clerks, he went outside and got a pressure washer, and pointed the hose at one of the employees outside.
She ran back in, and locked the door. That's when Birdsall began spraying the pressure washer on the sidewalk, door, and windows.
Police arrived, and took Birdsall into custody. He was charged with assault, disorderly conduct, and criminal trespass.
The manager of the store said Birdsall lives nearby, and has been harassing them for the past seven years. She said she has been assaulted by him several times in the past. Police advised her to get a restraining order against Birdsall.
Birdsall was arrested last year for allegedly trying to run over a teen in Walmart parking lot.
