NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police arrested several people after a complaint led them to find drugs inside an apartment overnight.
Police arrived at the apartment on Buena Vista Pike to smell marijuana coming out of the apartment, and heard the sound of a toilet flushing. They knocked repeatedly, but no one answered.
Officers checked the door, found it was open, and then went in and found eight people inside a bedroom. Police said they admitted to smoking marijuana, and said that none of them lived inside the apartment.
After the homeowner arrived at the residence and gave permission, police search the home.
Officers recovered 56 grams of marijuana packaged for resale and a baggie of cocaine. At least seven adults and a 17-year-old girl inside the residence were arrested.
