
TROY, Ala. (AP) - Marcos Knight had 20 points and eight rebounds to lead Middle Tennessee to a 66-56 victory over Troy in a Sun Belt Conference game Thursday night, setting a school record with its 15th consecutive victory.
JT Sulton had 10 points for the Blue Raiders (26-4, 18-1), who had already clinched their third Sun Belt regular-season title in the past four years.
Ray Chambers led Troy with 17 points and eight rebounds, Tevin Calhoun scored 11 and Antoine Myers 10 for the Trojans (11-19, 6-13), who lost their fourth straight.
Middle Tennessee swept the series, winning 93-41 on Feb. 9.
Red Raiders shot 52 percent from the field (26 of 50) to the Trojans 37 percent (20 of 54). They both struggled at the foul line: Middle Tennessee hit 11 of 22, Troy 11 of 23.
Middle Tennessee made a 14-0 run early in the first half and never trailed.
