Shooting Injures One Man In South Nashville - NewsChannel5.com | Nashville News, Weather & Sports

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -  Metro police were called out to the scene of a shooting in South Nashville Friday evening.  The shooting happened around 3:30 p.m. in the 300 block of Village Green Drive.  That's near Nashboro Village.

Police say several people approached an apartment where the victim was and a fight broke out.  At some point, someone shot through the window of the apartment and hit the man inside.  He was hit in the neck. 

His injuries were described as life-threatening, and the victim was taken to a local hospital for surgery.

No suspect information was immediately released.
