NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Metro police say the driver in a wrong-way crash was driving under the influence. Just after 1:00 a.m. police got reports that the driver of a white Nissan Altima was driving south in the northbound lanes of Interstate 65.
The driver made it all the way from the Demonbreun Street exit ramp on Interstate 40 to the Harding Place exit off I-65.
That's where she crashed into a retaining wall, spun around, and hit the center guard rail. The wrong-way driver also allegedly hit several other cars along the way. There were no reports of serious injuries.
