ATHENS, Ga. - After getting off to a 3-6 start in the SEC, the Tennessee Vols caught fire winning six straight games. The Big Orange was looking for another win on Saturday at Georgia to help pad their NCAA tournament resume, but it didn't happen.

In the first half, the Bulldogs were on a run, Sherrard Brantley hit a three to put Georgia up by 11.  They were up 3 at the break.

The Vols fought back behind Jordan McRae.  He was a one-man show.  Eight 3-pointers and a career-high 35 points from the Junior.  The last three put the Vols ahead with under 12 to play.

Georgia's Kentavious Caldwell Pope drilled a 3-pointer to put the Bulldogs up by 8.  He led Georgia with 24.

Then came the Freshman, Kenny Gaines with a three to put Georgia up by 12 late.  The Bulldogs would sweep the series and snap Tennessee's six-game winning streak.  The final score was 78-68.
