BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- A man shot by an off-duty deputy in Bowling Green, Kentucky has died.

The Kentucky State Police said Brandon Bradshaw died Saturday morning at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Kentucky State Police announced an autopsy will be done.

Their investigation into just what happened is still taking place.

The shooting happened Tuesday in the city limits of Bowling Green, in the parking lot of Michelle's Consignment Shop on the U-S 31 West Bypass.

The off-duty Warren County Deputy who shot Bradshaw has been identified as Thomas Brown, but no other information about exactly what happened has been released.  And that's making folks in Bowling Green upset as they search for answers

"We want to hear what happened, we want to know what happened, why he was shot," said Carla Lawrence, who attended a vigil for Bradshaw Saturday night.  "I mean, if he really did something wrong, we want to know the whole story."

Brown has been placed on routine Administrative Leave by the Warren County Sheriff's office, and once the investigation is complete, Kentucky State Police say they'll send their findings to the Warren County Commonwealth Attorney's Office for review.
