CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - A routine DUI stop in Clarksville took a bizarre turn. On Friday morning, police pulled over Kelsey Lee Hedges, 27. Hedges who is a Fort Cambell soldier, had allegedly hit a median, according to The Leaf Chronicle newspaper.
Officers said his eyes were watery, his speech was slurred, and he smelled of alcohol. When asked if he had any weapons, he admitted to having a machete and a tomahawk under the driver's seat.
He was arrested for DUI and unlawful carry of a deadly weapon.
