Woman Dies In Hohenwald House Fire

HOHENWALD, Tenn. - One woman was killed in a house fire in Lewis County Monday evening. The fire broke out at a home off Beverly Avenue in Hohenwald just before 6:00 p.m.

Firefighters arrived on scene just minutes after a call was placed to 911, but they were not able to save the female homeowner.

The Fire Marshal was investigating the cause of the fire.
