NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Officials from Metro Water Services have asked drivers to avoid Richard Jones Road in the Green Hills area after a water main broke.
The break happened some time Tuesday morning. It happened on the road just outside Nashville Fire Station 20.
Crews expected to have the break fixed by 1:30 p.m. They said the process was delayed due to rain in the area and the high volume of traffic in the area.
The break happened just a couple blocks away from Hillsboro High School. There were no reports of problems with water at the school.
They were not sure what caused the break.
