'Contributor' Salesman Arrested On Sexual Battery Charges

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. - A man selling "The Contributor" newspaper has been arrested on sexual battery charges.

Hendersonville Police said Andrew McGlothen was selling the newspaper at the corner of Indian Lake Boulevard and East Main Street on Wednesday when an incident happened.

Police have not released the details of exactly what went on, but McGlothen was taken into custody on Thursday.

The 50-year-old has also been charged with violation of the sex offender registry, because he is a sex offender who was selling the newspaper within 1,000 feet of a school. McGlothen was being held at the Sumner County Jail.
