Teacher Accused Of Inappropriate Relationship With Student

BLOUNT COUNTY, Tenn.- A Tennessee teacher is being accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a student.

Police say Angela Masingo, 37, of Lenoir City sent messages to a student via Facebook, but police say she didn't personally send the messages. Instead police say she gave them to another student who then sent them through Facebook.

Masingo, who taught at Greenback High School in Blount County, is being charged with solicitation of aggravated statutory rape and sexual exploitation of a minor.

A court hearing is set for this week.
