NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A 29-year-old mother has been charged with child abuse after leaving her five young children unattended outside Rivergate Mall.
According to the affidavit, Ericka Bradley came out of the mall a half hour after a witness called police. As she was being placed under arrest, she told her children they "were going to get it" when she got home.
Bradley told police she left the children in the car because one of them was putting things in her pocket.
She also said she checked on them periodically.
Bradley was charged with multiple offenses, including child abuse.
