First Lady To Announce Donation To Books From Birth

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Tennessee First Lady Crissy Haslam is expected to announce a major donation to the Governor's Books from Birth Foundation on Monday morning.

First Lady Haslam will be at the Fannie Battle Day Home for Children at 9 a.m.

Last month, there was outrage over the U.S. Postal Service destroying the children's books.

The service said it isn't fair to allow Books from Birth to pick-up undeliverable mail for free, when other groups can't.
