NASHVILLE, Tenn. – No injuries were reported in a crash involving a Metro Nashville Public Schools bus in the Bellshire area.

Police said a car rear-ended the bus just before 7 a.m. Monday at Old Hickory Boulevard and Dickerson Pike. The car caught on fire, but the Nashville Fire Department was able to put out the flames quickly.

There were children on board the bus, but no one was hurt. Another bus came to the scene to take the children to school, but it was not clear which school.

It was unclear if any charges would be filed.
