NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police have asked for help
from the public to identify the armed suspect they said robbed a convenience
store in South Nashville.
Surveillance video showed the male suspect entered
the Daily's gas station located at the corner of Harding Place and Antioch Pike
just before midnight last Wednesday.
The clerk told officers with the Metro Nashville
Police Department the suspect pulled out what looked like a semi-automatic
pistol and demanded money.
The suspect then ran from the store. He was last
seen heading toward Antioch Pike.
Detectives with the South Precinct have asked
for the public's help in finding the suspect.
They described the suspect as a black male, 6
feet 4 inches tall and wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and a black stocking
cap.
Anyone who recognizes the suspect or knows
anything about the crime has been urged to call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME
(615-742-7463). Those who call in tips can remain anonymous.
