Man Charged With Sexually Assaulting Woman During Massage
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A woman told police she was sexually assaulted when she went to get a massage, and said the company did not call police after it happened.
According to a police affidavit, the victim said she went in for a massage at O'Chi Reflexology at Opry Mills, which is between the Play area and Rainforest Café.
The affidavit said the woman was assaulted before she lay down on the massage table. She told police 45 year-old Wei Wang squatted down to help her take off her shoes and pushed his head between her legs.
At first she thought he was just trying to keep his balance, but once she lay down on the table she said he kissed the back of her neck and forced his hands underneath her, according to the affidavit.
She said she tried to get away, but he continued to assault her. She was finally able to get her clothes, and run out of the room screaming.
The affidavit said she asked other employees to call police, but they refused. She went to another store to have them call mall security and police.
Wang was charged with sexual battery. His bond was set at $20,000.
