Three Dead In Home Fire In Southern Kentucky

MONTICELLO, Ky. (AP) - A coroner has identified three people killed in a house fire in southern Kentucky.

Wayne County Coroner Forest Hicks said in a statement on Friday that 53-year-old Douglas Walker was pronounced dead at the scene Thursday night. Two others -- 60-year-old Melvina Walker and 3-year-old Jaimie Elliott -- were pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Autopsies on the three were scheduled for Friday at the State Medical Examiner's Office in Frankfort.
