Local Singers Belt It Out For Baseball

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Tryouts were held at Greer Stadium on Saturday, but none of the contenders were there to play baseball. The Sounds were searching for the best of the best when it comes to singing the National Anthem.

The Sounds will host 72 games at Greer Stadium this season, giving 72 local singers and opportunity to be in the spotlight and sing the anthem. People of all ages tried out on Saturday with styles ranging from Country to Barbershop-style.

The Sounds season-opener is against New Orleans on April 4th.
