Pedestrian Struck By Hit-And-Run Driver In Downtown Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A pedestrian was struck by a hit-and-run driver while crossing the street in downtown Nashville overnight.

Police said the pedestrian was crossing 2nd Avenue North around 1:15 a.m. Thursday when he was struck by a dark green Toyota car. The driver then left the scene.

The victim suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.

Police said the car suffered possible damage to driver's side mirror. It was last seen driving westbound on Commerce Street.
