HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. - A water line break has forced school leaders in Hopkinsville to close Christian County Middle School while crews make repairs.

Christian County Public Schools communication director Heather Aubin said there was a geothermal water line break sometime Thursday.

Crews have been called in and expected to fix the break Friday afternoon.

Officials said the middle school would be closed while crews made the necessary repairs.

Nearby Christian County High School was still expected to be open.
