Police Say Wrong Way Driver Struck Two Cars Overnight

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police took a wrong way driver into custody after he struck two vehicles in the Cane Ridge area overnight.

Police said the driver was headed the wrong way on Cane Ridge Road around 2 a.m. Wednesday when he struck a car, causing damage and injuring a passenger sitting in the back seat. The passenger was taken to Southern Hills Medical Center with minor injuries.

He then allegedly kept going, hitting another vehicle on Bell Road, causing minor damage to the vehicle.

Police finally caught up with the driver on Interstate 24, He was taken into custody, and will likely face DUI charges, according to police.
