600 New Jobs Coming To Spring Hill

SPRING HILL, Tenn. - Six hundred full time jobs are coming to Spring Hill and one of them could be yours. IBEX Global will host a career fair to hire operators for its AT&T call center.

"We started with fifty people back in 2011 when we built the facility for one particular customer," Clay Stewart with IBEX Global said.

IBEX Global now has 800 employees who represent about a dozen companies, including AT&T and Direct TV.

"These particular employees are engaged with customer interactions," Stewart said while walking in between cubicles in the call center. "The goal here is to produce an outstanding experience."

The employees are the voice on the other line, helping IBEX Global's clients retain their customers.

"Because for (companies) to lose a customer, it's a lot (harder) to get good customers back," recruiter Lori Decker said. "So they want to keep their customers, keep them happy."

IBEX Global is looking for 600 more people to provide this much needed customer service. All are expected to be hired by the end of July.

"These are careers. It's not a job, (where) you need a job for a couple of months until something better comes along," Decker said. "Because this is a good place to work and there's every opportunity to grow."

Salaries range from $10- $12 an hour, with training provided and benefits that in some instances include commission.

"It's really good pay," employee Amber Puffenbarger said. "It's got really good benefits and it's a really good environment."

In an economy where growth is slow, there's a glimmer of hope. It's a sign things may in fact be getting better.
