Retired Teacher And Coach Killed In Crash

LEBANON, Tenn. - A retired Lebanon High School teacher and coach was killed Saturday afternoon in a crash in Wilson County.

The Wilson Post reported Randy Vanatta's car was hit as he was driving through the intersection of Woodside and Winwood Drives in Lebanon. A 12-year-old family friend was also in the car. He was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in stable condition.

Two Lebanon High students were in the other car. Their injuries were not life threatening. No details on what caused the wreck were released, and it was not clear whether charges would be filed against the driver of the other car.
