Dense Fog Causes Issues During Morning Commute

Posted: Updated:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Dense fog has caused problems for drivers on the roadways across the mid-state on Monday morning.

The fog may have contributed to a wreck on Interstate 65 near Trinity Lane on Sunday night. Several cars were involved, and at least one person was injured. It was unclear how serious the injuries were.

Two lanes had to be closed while they worked to clear the scene.

Most of the mid-state remained under a dense fog advisory until 9 a.m. Monday. The advisory meant visibility could be near zero in some areas, making for very hazardous driving conditions. Drivers are urged to slow down, use headlights and leave plenty of distance between cars.
