Nashville Sounds Open Season Thursday Night

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Nashville Sounds open their 36th season Thursday night at Greer Stadium.

Nashville Mayor Karl Dean will throw out the ceremonial first pitch at 6:55 p.m. as the Sounds take on the New Orleans Zephyrs. The game opens four games against the Zephyrs, as well as an eight game homestand for the Sounds.

The first 2,500 fans to the Sounds season opener will receive Magnet Schedules courtesy of Great Clips.

For Throwback Thursday, the team will be in retro uniform, and fans can get $2 fountain drinks, beer, popcorn, hot dogs and nachos.

For Friday and Saturday's games, fans can stick around for a fireworks show.

The Sounds are the Triple-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers.
