NASHVILLE, Tenn. - While 17-year-old Johnathan Johnson's family and the entire community tries to come to grips with his murder, police continue to search for the suspect.

"The longer he stays out there, someone else could be in danger," North Precinct Commander Terrence Graves said.

Officers are looking for 17- year old Eric Goodner who they said targeted Johnson; shooting him at close range as he walked to the bus stop Thursday morning.

"Someone here in the Nashville area knows where he is, knows where he slept last night," Graves said. "Anybody that's willing to do that, they're a danger to society and I don't think you'll want them laying their head next to your home."

Police continue to ask for the community's help to track down Goodner.

"He's 17 years old. I doubt he has a bank account with 100-thousand dollars in it and he has unlimited resources. Somebody's helping him."

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
