NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Tennessee officials said national collections agency Windham Professionals is expanding operations in Alcoa and Hendersonville, adding 245 jobs in the process.

Governor Bill Haslam and state Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bill Hagerty said the expansion in the two cities represents an investment of $500,000 by Windham.

Windham is based in Salem, N.H., with a regional headquarters in Hendersonville.

The expansion is expected to add 150 additional jobs in Alcoa and 95 positions in Hendersonville.

In a statement released Tuesday, Hagerty said the state has identified business services and call centers as one of the key sectors for business development and expansion.
