South Nashville Gas Station Robbed At Gunpoint

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police want to identify a man who held up a south Nashville gas station at gunpoint overnight.

The man was wearing a bandanna over part of his face when he walked into the Mapco on Trousdale Drive around 12:15 a.m. Wednesday. He showed the clerk his gun, and demanded money.

After getting the cash, he fled the scene on foot.

Police brought out K-9 units to search for the robber, but to no avail. He remains on the loose, and police said he should be considered armed and dangerous.
