NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee State University's agricultural department makes way for new facility that will attract students and donations.

TSU president Dr. Glenda Glover, Tennessee Board of Regents chancellor John Morgan and others broke ground Wednesday afternoon to a $4 million teaching, research facility at the university's Agricultural Research and Educational Center.

The building facility will connect to the greenhouse, which will allow more extensive research and make way for more funding, said College of Agriculture, Human and Natural Sciences dean, Dr. Chandra Reddy.

Completion of the project is scheduled for September in conjunction with the $8 million new bio agricultural building.
