I-24 Back Open After Fiery Crash at Haywood Lane

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – All lanes of Interstate 24 westbound reopened to traffic late Monday afternoon after a fiery morning crash near Antioch.

The crash involving four vehicles, including two trucks, happened around 9:40 a.m. Monday between Haywood Lane and Harding Place.

Sky 5 HD showed a service truck that had crashed into a car and overturned; another tractor trailer had overturned in the right median and caught fire.

Police said no hazardous materials were involved and no one was seriously hurt.

All lanes were blocked for nearly two hours, two lanes were reopened around 11:30 a.m., and the remaining lanes reopened around 3:30 p.m.
