Senator Campfield Posts Photo Of 'Assault Pressure Cooker'

Posted: Updated:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - State Senator Stacey Campfield is taking heat again after posting a controversial photo about the Boston Marathon bombing on his blog.

The photo is titled "Assault Pressure Cooker," and includes labels like "tactical pistol grip" and "can cook for hours without reloading."

Campfield said he's trying to make a point about the president's efforts to pass new gun control measures following last year's mass shootings.

Critics call the comparison ridiculous, and the picture "tasteless."

In a follow-up post, Campfield kept joking, calling it "crock pot control," and said he would not apologize for the picture.
