Two Men Shot During Argument In Parking Lot

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Two people were injured when shots rang out during an argument outside a business overnight.

Police said the two victims, ages 23 and 28, were shot in the parking lot of Melrose Billiards in the 2600 block of Franklin Pike around midnight.

Police said the two were arguing with another person when he pulled out a gun and opened fire. The 28-year-old was shot in the hip and the 23-year-old was shot in the leg. They drove themselves to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where they were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said the shooter fled the scene. It was unclear if the victims knew him.

No identities were released.

Police continue to investigate.
