Gallatin Police Offer $1,000 Reward In Deadly Shooting

Posted: Updated:

GALLATIN, Tenn. – The Gallatin Police Department is now offering a $1,000 reward leading to information about a deadly shooting earlier this month.

On April 15, police found 23-year-old Rameon Wilson with a gunshot wound to the head outside of an apartment building at the Greenwood Apartments on Green Wave Drive. Wilson was taken by LifeFlight to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he passed away the following day.

Investigators said they have collected numerous leads in the shooting, but need assistance from the public to definitively identify a suspect.

Gallatin Police said that anyone with information, regardless of how small or insignificant the information may seem, will come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Lt. Ricky Troup or Sgt. Alex Tanguis at the Gallatin Police Department at (615) 452-1313.
