NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Grand Ole Opry will be dedicating all of this weekend's shows in honor of legendary George Jones who passed away Friday at age 81.

Some of the artists who performed Friday night sang Jones' songs, including Brad Paisely who made a surprise visit to the Opry House in honor of his friend.

Montgomery Gentry, who was scheduled to perform in Jones' final concert set for November also performed and later told the media they believe the show should go on, even if it's in the form of a tribute.

Jones died Friday at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, according to his publicist Kirt Webster.

He had been hospitalized with fever and irregular blood pressure last week, forcing him to postpone two shows.
