NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The kid's version of the Country Music Marathon was held on Sunday. More than 6,000 kids registered for the ING Kids Rock run.

Many had been preparing for the run for months. They had trained at school, home, or during recess running a mile every change they got. Sunday's 1 miles run was their 26th mile, making it a complete marathon. Each child got a medal and a t-shirt after crossing the finish line.

The winner of Saturday's marathon, Scott Wietecha also ran in Sunday's race. He's a teacher at H.B. Williams Elementary School in White House, and he took part in Sunday's run along with his students.
