Posted: Updated:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation employee was charged with theft after authorities said he stole computers from them.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation arrested 33-year-old Paul Willingham, of Smithville, on Friday after he was indicted last month on one count of theft of property over $1,000.

Authorities said Willingham stole the computers while was working as a computer tech for the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation. The laptops were recovered, and Willingham was fired.

Willingham was booked into the Dekalb County Jail on $10,000 bond and was transferred to the Davidson County Jail.
