NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A weekend drug bust landed a man and woman in jail after police found drugs, guns, and cash inside their home.

Detectives executed a narcotics-related search warrant at a home on Tru Long Court in Antioch on Friday. Police arrested 36-year-old Jimmy Abernathy, and his girlfriend, 37-year-old Crystal Churn.

Detectives seized more than 35 ounces of marijuana, ten ounces of cocaine, three vehicles, five flat screen TVs, computers and other electronics, a stolen .40 caliber pistol, a 12 gauge shotgun and $14,964 cash.

An affidavit said Abernathy had more than $4,300 on him when he was arrested. After detectives read him his rights, they said he admitted to police that the drugs belonged to him.

Abernathy was charged with felony marijuana and cocaine possession, a crooks with guns law violation and theft. He was held in lieu of $146,000 bond. Abernathy has prior felony drug convictions in Maury and Marshall Counties.

Churn was charged with felony marijuana and cocaine possession. She was freed on $75,000 bond.
