Traffic Slowed By Tractor Trailer Fire On I-40E

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -  Traffic was slowed during the Monday morning commute after a tractor trailer hauling 40,000 pounds of turkey caught fire on Interstate 40.

The truck caught fire just after 7:10 a.m. Monday in the eastbound lanes at mile marker 202, near American Road.

No injuries were reported.

The roadway was cleared by 10 a.m.
