Clarksville Police Identify Murder Victim

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.Clarksville Police have identified the man whose body was found early Saturday morning.

The body of 53-year-old Jimmy Dean Boyer was discovered at the Pumping Station on West Fork Drive. Police said he was known to frequent several establishments on Ft. Campbell Boulevard. Detectives have asked anyone that may have seen him late Friday night or early Saturday morning to come forward.

Detectives spent several hours on Saturday collecting evidence and attempting to identify Boyer. Police released a photo of a ring similar to one he was wearing in hopes that someone would be able to identify him. The ring is gold and features a gold eagle.
