Local School Collecting Donations For Oklahoma

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A local school will be sending donations to the victims of the Oklahoma tornado.

A 25-foot trailer will be parked in front of Nashville Christian School on Thursday from 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. collecting good and other necessary supplies. The school is located at 7555 Sawyer Brown Road.

If you would like to donate, organizers have made a list of some of the items you can bring:

  • Can Food
  • Baby Formula (canned or powder)
  • Dry Food (cereal, granola bars, nuts, noodles, etc.)
  • New or Mildy Worn Clothes (children-adult sizes)
  • Toiletries
  • Cases of Bottled Water
  • Pillows, Sheets, Blankets, Sleeping Bags
The items should be packaged in a cardboard container or in a durable bag with a list of the contents inside labeled on the outside.

The trailer is expected to head to Oklahoma on Tuesday morning.
