Man Arrested In Gallatin Murder

GALLATIN, Tenn. – Gallatin Police have arrested a man in connection with their first murder in three years.

Keanthony Dillard, aka "Cruna," was taken into custody Friday. Police said he shot and killed Rameon Wilson at Greenwood Apartments on the night of April 15. The 22-year-old was shot four times in the head, according to police.

Dillard had previously been questioned in the murder, but had not been arrested until now. Police said Dillard is known to associate with gangs in the Nashville area and has a previous history of armed robbery, assault, and drug charges.

The April murder marked the first homicide in Gallatin in nearly three years.

Gallatin Police said the investigation was still ongoing, and have asked anyone with information to call them at (615)452-1313.
