NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Josh Heddinger pitched a two-hitter and Georgia Tech beat No. 2 overall seed Vanderbilt 5-0 on Sunday night to force a rematch for the title of the NCAA tournament's Nashville regional.

The Yellow Jackets pulled away with three runs in the sixth, including a two-run home run by Mitch Earnest. Georgia Tech (37-26) has won three straight after losing its NCAA tournament opener. The teams will meet again Monday for the regional championship.

The Commodores (53-10) were shutout for just the second time this season.

Heddinger was making just his sixth start of the season. He worked around six walks, retired 13 of his last 14 batters and didn't allow a hit after the third. The sophomore threw a career-high 127 pitches and pitched past the seventh inning for the first time.

Georgia Tech had 12 hits, getting production from all nine players in the lineup. Mott Hyde matched a career-high with three hits.
