NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The inside of the Bridgestone Arena has been transformed for the 2013 CMT Music Awards. Country artists started rehearsals for the show, all part of a busy week in Nashville.

Tullahoma native Dustin Lynch spent time Monday afternoon rehearsing his hit song Cowboys and Angels. He knows he has a lot on his schedule the rest of the week.

"It's going to be, I think, seven shows and hours and hours of shaking hands and telling people thank you. Looking forward to it, it's going to be a lot of fun," Lynch said.

The guys from Florida Georgia Line took to the stage at Bridgestone Arena to rehearse their hit Cruise. Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard were joined by hip-hop star Nelly. The three remixed Cruise and will perform it during Wednesday's CMT Music Awards.

"There's nobody better, that could've done a better job. We're just very proud of it and Nelly has become a really good friend of us, excited about the future," Kelley said.

Country stars are all across Nashville this week. Monday afternoon Darius Rucker played for students at Nashville's W.O. Smith Music School.

He said it is tough getting around Nashville during CMA Week.

"You've got to stop and talk to everybody, and then you end up taking 6 million pictures. But, I always say it's going to be really bad when people stop asking for my picture, so I don't mind," according to Rucker.

With more and more people coming to Nashville before the actual start of the CMA Music Festival, fans are finding events scheduled for each day of the week. That is what has transformed a four-day festival into an entire week of country fun in Nashville.
