NASHVILLE, Tenn. - As the crowd sizes for CMA Festival continue to grow by the thousands each year, the overall size of the square footage surrounding concert venues has increased as well.

In years past when the four-day long event was held at the fairgrounds, the radius around the venue was close to a mile and a half, but now fans can easily cover close to three miles trying to get around the festival.

"My legs feel like they're going to fall off," said one fan walking around downtown in flip-flops.

Organizers said in 2011 the festival brought close to 65,000 people into Music City and in 2012 that number was well over 70,000.

"We've covered many, many miles," one fan from Florida said.
