On Thursday night, the crowd at LP Field rocked out to Taylor Swift who was joined by Tim McGraw and Keith Urban on stage. They also heard performances from Tracy Lawrence, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Miranda Lambert and The Zac Brown Band.

Some of the artists said this is their favorite event of the year.

"It's always an opportunity to do things that are unique for your fans. It's an opportunity to step on a stage and try to come up with something exciting to pull out for the fans. Picking your set list is really important you want to make sure that everything you do for CMA Fest is catered to the fans," Taylor Swift said Thursday night.

Fans who have tickets to the nightly shows at LP Field also have free access to Fan Fair X at Music City Center, where they can meet-and-greet and hear some of their favorite artists perform.
